Kiln-Dried Lumber

Kiln-Dried Lumber

Kiln-drying lumber transforms its properties to make it suitable for various applications. This process promotes stability, regulates the expansion and contraction of the wood, and eliminates bacteria, fungi, and insects from the material. Furthermore, kiln drying improves the machinability of the lumber, enabling it to be easily glued and hardened, thereby enhancing its overall workability.

Landscaping mulch, rock, & gravel are commonly used to improve the appearance of outdoor spaces, prevent weed growth, & regulate soil temperature & moisture levels.

Landscaping Materials & Gravel

  • Our premium bark mulch is all-natural with no dyed wood or chemicals. It naturally darkens as it ages through its decomposition process giving it a rich dark brown color. Through this aging process, it becomes sterilized. Bark mulch provides many benefits to plants, acting as a weed suppressant & helps retain moisture for plant roots.

Single-Ground Bark Mulch- bark mulch that is coarse & will have larger pieces of bark

Double-Ground Bark Mulch- bark mulch that is ground twice to provide a product that is not as coarse as the single ground

*currently we do not offer colored mulch - all available mulch is natural brown in color)

  • Screened (will have minimal debris such as small stones/gravel)

Composted Mushroom Soil (organic plant fertilizer composed of horse manure, wheat, rye, and peat moss. The mixture is then broken down & steamed to kill any weed seeds that may be present in the mixture)

  • #9 Limestone (Anti-skid « pea-sized gravel, gray in color)
1B Sandstone (crushed stone commonly used in construction & landscaping projects, typically as base material - appx. half an inch in size, tan to brown in color)
2B Limestone (larger in size - appx. 1.5”, gray in color)
2B Sand-Stone (appx. 1.5” in size - tan to brown in color)
Red 2B Stone (appx. 1.5” in size - ranges from light red to dark red in color)
2RC (Sub-Base) (mixture of 2B gravel, dirt, silt, and clay - primarily used for fill or a sub-base)
Limestone Screenings (smaller in size than other types of crushed stone, & they have a powdery consistency that allows them to compact well - popular choice for creating a flat and stable base layer for outdoor hardscaping)
Sand (Concrete Sand - slightly courser than masonry & great for leveling landscaping stone or play sets)

  • Smooth, round stone typically used for decorative landscaping, water features, drainage & erosion control.
